Chrome OS will not be able to install on your own machine, you'll need to purchase a machine with Chrome OS on it already

I'm a little confused as to when we'll be able to see Chrome OS on a device, or if we'll be able to install chrome OS on our older PCs/Laptops/netbooks.

They seem to be releasing some open source code today, and one of the techs even mentioned running it in a Virtual Machine. This leads me to believe we'll be able to run it on our older machines, drivers permitted obviously.

I look forward to reading some articles on this OS, in the upcoming days.

So...this makes me wonder if buying a netbook with the Chrome OS would be worth it...

I'd rather be able to run it on dual boot on my current computer.
