Problem is that people have and still do this. On another forum I'm constantly telling people there is a limit to the what system will run 7 and they post in disbelief like why? XP ran well.

Also its the manufactures who put the "Vista capable" sticker on systems that really were not.

The public thinks that new= better performance, it does with the right system.

I hear ya DRFP, I realy dont like the fact that Dell and HP were both guilty of putting 1GB of RAM in a PC with Vista on it when MS clearly labeled 2GB's for Vista OEM.

@Jovocop the only issue i have with the website ratings is that they are usually skewed by FANBOYS. When the Phenom 2 came out the newegg ratings were low as hell 2 days before it was even released. Contrary, when the i7 came out its ratings were through the roof 3 days before it was released.

I admit that viewing new hardware user reviews around the date of release is a lot less accurate then viewing the same hardware's user reviews after a couple of months after the release date. Those who write those reviews within days of the release (or even before the release) have not really tested the hardware to the max. Which is probably why I rely on TW7S member's opinion when dealing with hardware upgrades.
