In order to keep the forums running well and to prevent problems, please follow these simple rules for the forums here. If you have any questions or problems, please feel free to contact one of the Administrators or Super Moderators. While we work hard to be as fair and impartial as possible, and will always do our best to consider all viewpoints respectfully made suggestions, ALL decisions made by the Administrators & Super Moderators of this forum are to be considered final once they have been made and, in the case of warnings and/or bans, are non negotiable.

General Rules::

1. While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts. Our decision is final in these matters.
2. No purposely posting or asking to be posted, any malicious content (any content or links containing malware).
3. No useless posts. This includes: Thread bumping, multi or cross posting the same question in different forums, useless one liners, flaming, and Trolling.
4. No discussion of politics, religion or firearms - this is a technical forum and not the place for it!
5. Multiple or repeated posting in order to increase your post count is not allowed.
6. Advertising, selling, spamming, and promoting your site or another website is not allowed. This includes using the forum email, Visitor and Private message system, TW7S Chat or your signature to spam other members with this.
7. We also do not allow posts that are sexual in nature or violate TheWindows7Site.com community standards. The TW7S Staff shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards.
8. Discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed. The discussion of methods (cracks) designed to circumvent activation and other intellectual protection technologies is also not allowed.
9. Each member is allowed one login account. If we spot multiple accounts, we may reserve the right to ban one or all accounts. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed.
10. If you are going to post non-English on these forums, please also post an English Translation of your post.
11. Also while these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.
12. You cannot post any affiliate or referral links, or post anything asking for a referral. Such posts will be subject to removal.
13. You cannot post advertisements or notices for contests. This includes classified ad types of posts as well.
14. We also reserve the right to ban anyone who wilfully violates the forum rules, as access to our support forums are a privilege and not a right.
15. We reserve the right to remove offensive posts without notice.
16. Signatures must not contain any links to other tech sites or forums.
17. Articles: If an article is from another website, then it cannot be copied completely here. That would be considered plagiarism. Instead it will need to presented in a teaser format with usually only the first few paragraphs of the article with the link to that website's article included in your post as a "Read more here" or "Continued..." link at the bottom. Please acknowledge the source, if at all possible.
18. Abusing the PM (Private Message) system with any of the above, or sending PMs to members for Windows 7 related help instead of posting it in the forum is not acceptable, post your questions or related inquiries in the proper forum so that others may benefit from the answer.
19. Please do not include your email address in your posts. If you wish to let someone on these forums have your address then send it to them via PM (Private Messaging) or TW7S Chat (Instant Messaging) with their agreement of course. Do not have it on public view. This is for your safety, to prevent you from getting SPAM and unwanted emails.
20. No posting malicious code/material (example VBS, or links to files that contain viruses etc.)
21. Requesting invites to torrent trackers is Prohibited. It is getting out of hand.

Administrators/Super Moderators reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any content item for any reason.
